Walk for Water with CAFOD this term. You'll be joining in spirit with Catholic schools across England and Wales who are all walking for water so that other people, like Abdella in Ethiopia, don't have to.

Story

Walk for Water is a challenge to walk and raise money for those who do not have access to water. Please support us as we walk to help those in need. We will be raising money for people like Abdella. Abdella is 23 and has been walking for water daily since he was 10 or 11 years old. Abdella lives in Afar, Ethiopia - one of the hottest places on earth. Like hundreds of people in the area, he spends most of every day getting water for his family. With a water point nearer his home, Abdella's family would no longer have to worry about getting enough to stay alive; and Abdella could start on the dreams he has for the rest of his life. So please join up and get involved so that CAFOD local experts can give communities like Abdella's the support they need.

CAFOD's 'Walk for Water' campaign will be our Lenten Charity this year.
Staff and students together will ‘Walk for Water’.
Everyone is invited to join the challenge either individually, or as a virtual group, to walk 10,000 steps a day in solidarity with those in the world who have to walk miles every day to find safe fresh water, and then carry it home.
