Story

On 6 April 2020, at the age of 99, Captain Tom Moore took one small step that had the power to inspire millions more. His dedication captured the hearts of the world. On Friday 30 April, and four days through the Bank Holiday weekend to 3 May, we are inviting you to celebrate his birthday and join the Captain Tom 100 challenge. The proudest number Tom had was 100 - so take the number 100 and Do It Your Way (Tom's favourite song was My Way by Frank Sinatra). ANYONE, ANYWHERE, CAN DO 100 THINGS FOR CHARITY. If Captain Tom could do it, so can you, so DO THE 100. Maybe.... Cycle 100 mins or cycle 4 x 25k Up and down the stairs 100 times 100 laps around the garden or park Run 100 metres or run 100km 100 skips each day or 100 hula hoops Recite 100 Shakespeare quotes or learn 100 Latin phrases Dance for 100 mins non stop or song 100 songs 100 sit-up's each day or 100 burpees Give up tech for 100 hours, or a sponsored 100-hour silence Or just donate £100!
