Well what can I say it's been a real rough ride for the past 3 years. We lost our first born boy Murry in June 2012. I lost my Mum to cancer this Feb and just days before her death I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative invasive ductal breast cancer..my whole world felt like it was crashing all around me and I'm still coming to terms with everything now. 

I had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal on 9th March, so now that I have recovered from surgery it's almost time to start chemotherapy treatment for which should have begun on the 19th May but because I also have a fractured ankle my date was changed to Tues 9th June. I will have 6 rounds of treatment in total and was told I will lose all my hair including eyelashes and eyebrows by the second treatment. So rather than watching my hair fall out bit by bit I will be shaving it all off. It's a long road ahead and I dread every minute of it but I am not going to let this beat me and my family.

I would like to ask all my friends and family or anyone else that would also like to donate to a charity that is close to our hearts...COSMIC who were such a huge part of our sons life when he was admitted into intensive care in August 2012 and spent 5 weeks fighting for his life, unfortunately there wasn't anything more they could do to save him so at 12 weeks old he was transferred to Keech Hospice where he spent the last hours of his life with all his family. 

COSMIC are and always will be very close to our hearts and by donating anything you can afford would help more children and families in need of help.
