The Star CC have realised over the last ten months that staying in touch, checking in with each other and getting out and about has been vitally important for our mental health. The club is now in 'fitness' training for the 2021 season and will host a 'fun' run/walk for players, family and friends on Sunday 21st March to get the club together and to raise money for Bath Mind.
Participants are invited to set themselves an achievable target distance at the beginning of January and then partake in team training to achieve this target on the day. There will be multiple start points on the course but the aim will be for all participants to finish at HQ, The Star Inn, 23 Vineyards, Bath, BA1 5NA.
For many with existing mental health problems this is a particularly stressful and challenging time, therefore Bath Mind's mental health support services are more critical then ever, and a life line for so many in our community.
Bath Mind support the essential mental health and wellbeing needs of hundreds of people across B&NES. They have adapted these services to include remote support and care where possible.
They urgently need funds to enable them to meet the increasing demand for mental health support in B&NES, and help support the strain placed on our services by COVID-19 measures.
