Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022 · 9 October 2022 ·

The YES Team is taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon so that more young people in East London can play, learn and grow through increased opportunities in sport.

Story

Grass roots sports play a vital role in local communities to keep young people learning, motivated, fit, healthy and on the right pathway in life. The YES Charity does some amazing work supporting sports clubs and sports charities in East London so that all young people have the opportunity to play sport. They do this by helping the clubs and charities purchase equipment, team kit, putting young people through coaching courses, and funding residential trips which broaden their horizons both metaphorically and physically. I want to do my best to support the YES Charity by running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 9 October a huge 21km around the sights of London. Any contribution, no matter what size, can effectively impact the lives of thousands of young people who would otherwise not have the opportunity to play, learn and grow through local sport. Thank you
