Do you like laughing? Do you think cancer is rubbish? If you answered yes to either (or, of course, both) of those questions, then you are in the right place.

We have organised an amazing comedy event at the Newcastle Tyne Theatre to raise a lot of much-needed money to supply cancer care in the north east, and also give those sponsoring patrons a great nights entertainment. The acts are booked, venue hired, advertising designed and bought....now we just need some punters to make the night complete!

We would obviously like as many people as possible to join us on the night, and make an evening to remember. This JustGiving page has been created for anyone unable to make the event, but would still like to show their support for this great charity (and the effort that goes in to an event of this size!).

There have been so many things to sort out for this night, and so many costs to get bookings secured, venue hired, and advertising produced. I have created this page to allow people the chance to sponsor the event, helping to cover some of these costs, and so increasing the chances of the night being a success.

1 in 3 of us will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lives. Unfortunate as it is, the chances are that someone you are close to will face this greatest of battles.
