I'm doing all I can during the month of October to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer in association with Cancer Research UK. - if you don't know what SU2C is, it's a huge show which will be airing on channel 4 at the end of October. It does a fantastic job accelerating fundraising for Cancer Research UK- which is a charity very close to my heart.

A couple of years ago I lost my gran to Ovarian Cancer. I was so close to my gran and I will never ever have a friendship quite like I had with her ever again. She was an utterly amazing woman, loved and missed by many.  My brave uncle is currently fighting a cancerous brain tumour too. Although there's nothing I can do to bring her back or help my uncle I can help speed up the process of funds being raised to eventually find a cure to cancer. 

Another reason I want to raise funds is for my mum, my auntie, my cousins and sisters... We recently found out that we have an unspecified cancer gene (kind of like the one Angelina Jolie has) except specialists have never seen it before... All they know is that it will cause cancer. 

So let's nip cancer in the bud and do everything we can to try help raise funds for Cancer Research and put an end to this evil disease!!
