STANAGE VS MILE CHALLENGE · 26 February 2008

We rescue people from remote areas to save lives and alleviate distress

Story

THE CHALLENGE:

To lead climb all the routes graded Very Severe in the 1989 BMC guidebook in a day. This challenge has its own special old fashioned grade of XS 6a, and includes two modern day E1s, and three climbs of technical grade 6a.

This is over a mile of vertical climbing, and works out to 29 routes each.

All proceeds will be donated to the Edale Mountain Rescue Team, who are a volunteer run team who rescue injured climbers throughout the Peak District.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.
