Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

The pupils of St Aidan’s are walking, scooting and cycling 21,000 miles around the world in 80 days to raise money for the PSA.

The school has a deficit of £88,000 and so every penny really counts! Money raised will go towards a counsellor for the school, extra Covid cleaning and renovating the school toilets.

The walk starts on Friday 8th January and hope to arrive back at the school gates in 80 days time, on Monday 29th March.

Every child needs to walk 100 miles in this time (an average of 1.25 miles a day).  Last lockdown 25% of children in the UK didn’t leave the house to do any exercise, so we are hoping not only will we raise money for the school but it will also help us to be more active.

Due to social distancing restrictions the children all have their own sponsorship forms to fill out, but these won’t be passed around.  Instead, we are asking people to donate via this platform.  Donating here is totally secure and JustGiving won’t sell on your details or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the St Aidan’s PSA charity.

If you do make a donation please let the child who you’re sponsoring know as each class is trying to raise the most money!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

About the charity

With a current deficit of £170,000 in our school budget due to Government cuts, we are looking to any and every way to fundraise for our school! This year we will have to cover the cost of such items as IT equipment, school furniture and more, which have historically been covered by the council.
