Story
Hi to all my family, friends, colleagues and anyone else interested.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
With the difficulties of the last 2 years of health issues almost over, I have decided to set myself an aim, a target to focus on. So, I have decided to do the Reading Half Marathon 2010, in March of this year. I have never been athletic and certainly not a runner, so, I will need to make the most of the remaining few weeks to get myself ready and able to do the race. My wife Maureen has faced the challenge twice and succeeded and that is the inspiration for me to have a bash too!
If I am to do this too, I feel that I must do it not just for myself, but for others too. That is why, after some deliberation, I have decided to run for the Sue Ryder Care, who do a fantastic job with people who are not as fortunate as ourselves. Check them out at: www.suerydercare.org.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now and come on the day to cheer me along or have a good laugh watching me suffer and stagger my way through! - Where is the catering pack of Blisteeze plasters?
Thanks to all..
