Story
There's a familiar face you may not have seen around Stag lately and we wanted to explain why.
Nicole took maternity leave at the beginning of last year to prepare for her little boy Isaac’s arrival. On the 4th December 2019 Isaac Lang was born sleeping at 29 weeks and 2 days.
Everyone at Stag, clients included, mourned deeply for Nicole and Jordan’s loss. But Nicole speaks of how, in amongst the deep sadness, she felt an overwhelming sense of peace. The experience deepened her faith and her relationship with Jordan. Ultimately, although this was time of deep sorrow they see the period of their son’s pregnancy and the special memories created afterwards as a time of great joy - the meaning of Isaac's name.
So it’s with more great joy we announce the arrival last week of Nicole’s beautiful daughter Iva Joy Lang, born the 2nd of December 2020 at 15:24. (Nearly an exact year since Isaac’s birth date) We’re in awe of the strength and commitment of Nicole and Jordan, and so truly happy for this precious family. Her middle name is Joy, and Iva means “God is gracious” and “God’s gift.”
What a gift indeed.
To honour the birthdays of Isaac and Iva, we wanted to give our own gift from all the clients and team at Stag. Nicole often spoke about how much the charity SiMBA were there for her, and how much solace she found in the memory box they organised.
So for all of December we've decided to donate £1 from every appointment at Stag to @simba_team
However - due to lockdown we're missing out on a huge amount of appointments and all the contribution that goes with them.
So we came up with a new plan.
Introducing the 24th December 24 HOUR HAIRCUT MARATHON
Back in the good old days Muz used to be known as “Marathon McRae” for his legendary 24 hour stints on Ibiza dance floors.
Now just in time for Crimbo he’s dusting off his trainers - and it’s all for a good cause!
On the 23rd of December Murray will be cutting hair for 24 hours straight with all profits from extra hours going direct to @Simba_team
He'll be standing in one spot wearing sweat bands and running gear, scissors flying, from 8:30am on the 23rd taking us right through to 8:30am on the 24th
And you can book one!
Haircuts will be the regular price with profits of after hours cuts going to Simba. Stag Espresso will also be there all night too making free coffee to keep you awake in the chair.
If you can’t make it down but want to support this great cause you can donate here.
Thanks for your support and we hope you'll join us in celebrating the newest member of the Stag family.
