Story
I am joining a team of ex colleagues from Support Staffordshire walking the full length of the Staffordshire Way. Why am I doing this? They are a fantastic bunch of people passionate about the work they do. Community is is at the heart of everything they do and they need to raise vital funds to continue to support more than 1,200 community groups and voluntary organisations across Staffordshire.
The Staffordshire Way is a 92 mile public footpath that spans the county from north to south. It takes in parts of Newcastle-under-Lyme, the Staffordshire Moorlands, East Staffordshire, Cannock Chase, Stafford and South Staffordshire. It starts near Mow Cop on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border and ends at Kinver in South Staffordshire.
The path will be walked in 6 days (distances are approximate):
7th May 2022: Mow Cop to Leek 14.5 miles
8th May 2022: Leek to Alton 14.5 miles
21st May 2022: Alton to Abbots Bromley 15 miles
22nd May 2022: Abbots Bromley to Penkridge 17 miles
25th June 2022: Penkridge to Codsall 16 miles
27th June 2022: Codsall to Kinver Edge 16 miles
