This year, Giving Tuesday falls on November 29th, which happens to be my daughter Ali's 28th birthday, so I am raising funds for Public Counsel in her honor.

Ali has devoted her life to public service, social justice, advocacy and equity.  She is working to use policy change and advocacy to bring the voices of historically disenfranchised groups into policy making, and ultimately hopes to bridge the relationship between community-based organizations and school districts to improve equitable outcomes for all youth.

Public Counsel delivers justice, hope and opportunity to our communities' most vulnerable residents and your contribution will help deliver critical legal services to people who need support.

So in honor of Ali, my social justice warrior daughter, and the social justice warriors at Public Counsel, please do what you can to help us reach our goal.
