Story

Rachael and I both live and work in East Lancashire and have recently decided to support St Catherines Hospice, based in Preston.

We are participating in the Manchester Color Run on Sunday 5th July 2015 to raise funds for the Hospice which provides specialist palliative and end of life care to patients across Chorley, Longridge, Preston and South Ribble who are affected by life-limiting conditions.

I am definitely not an avid runner so for me, this will be a real challenge! Rachael, on the other hand, is partial to the occasional 5K and you may see her sprinting around Billington on an evening!

St Catherines do some truly great work and not only supports its patients but their families too.

It costs around £5million per year to run the Hospice and only around 30% of their funding comes from the NHS so please donate today. Any amount, no matter how big or small will make a difference and help to keep St Catherines doors open for years to come!
