Story

Man's greatest accessory, the moustache is making a long awaited comeback this month. Some of the world's greatest upper lips have housed fine moustaches: Einstein, Dali, Nietzsche, Frank Zappa, and everyone's favourite and my personal moustache muse, the mighty Magnum PI.

For the month of October, I will be growing as much facial hair as I can. Please sponsor my stache with your cash and help out Room to Read. They are a great charity helping to build schools and libraries in deprived areas all over the world.

UPDATE: As you can see, facial hair is very versatile. In my latest guise, I have taken on a WWF-style persona. With a more relaxed expression, I am now able to mimic the great Chuck Norris.

UPDATE: There are plans afoot to create the STACHETOBER CALENDAR which will be so hairy, it may have to be shampoo'd regularly.

UPDATE: As you can see, I have finally taken the MAGNUM plunge and left only the mighty moose! I seem to look more middle-school than Magnum here, but its nothing a hawaiian shirt won't fix! 'Stachetober calendar shots will be uploaded soon - contain your excitement!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Room To Read gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
