Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in the Welsh 3 Peaks challenge with my lovely friends Dee Mackey and Leusa Stoker-Edwards. It's going to be a big challenge, especially considering my lack of training but here goes!
There are so many amazing charities out there doing incredible work and all of them very worthwhile but I have decided to raise money for the NSPCC.
They're the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
The range of services they offer to vulnerable young people is simply amazing. Every 10 minutes someone contacts the NSPCC helpline and every 25 seconds a child calls Childline. Those statistics are pretty damning but the good work they do and the lives they help rebuild is just astounding. They campaign on behalf of young children to make sure their voices are heard by those in power. They stand up for children, demanding that laws change and action is taken to better protect them. They're helping to transform the lives of those who've suffered abuse and to prevent further abuse and neglect.
They have a motto "every childhood is worth fighting for" and I couldn't agree more. You can check out some of the work they do using the link below.

I would be most grateful if you could help me raise some money for this wonderful charity. I appreciate that we all have seemingly endless requests from family and friends for donations for various charitable challenges but every penny makes a difference to this charity and the lives of the countless children they help. All donations greatly received and please feel free to share.
Thank you for taking the time to read. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
