The Lock down in India, due to COVID-19, has closed schools for all children we usually support who are the poorest and most vulnerable in society in India. Parents incomes have also stopped and so we have diverted to our efforts to providing food.

Story

As you may have seen on the media there is desperate scenes in India due to lock down caused by COVID-19. All the children we support are the poorest and most vulnerable in society in India. Their parents are usually earning a very meagre daily wage which only just sustains their life. This has all stopped bringing major hardship to the communities. I have been in touch with Mothers Care team in India, who would normally be supporting children in school, however schools are now closed for some time. We have diverted our efforts to supplying food for families who need it most. Any donation if gratefully received.
