My sister-in-law Alvina suffered a stroke as a result of a brain tumour. Surgeons operated but it left her unable to speak or properly recognise her family. She never recovered fully and sadly died. 

The staff at St Leonard's Hospice were fantastically supportive of Alvina and our family, to support the fabulous work that they do, Myself and James Huggins, Louise's husband are running the York 10k to raise much-needed funds for them.
