Story
Every year, in September, the pupils and staff of St John Ogilvie High School take part, in huge numbers, in the St Andrew's Hospice Schools' 6k at Strathclyde Park. Our pupils and school community always manage to raise a phenomenal amount of money to support the great work of this charity. Unfortunately this year, due to Covid, the hospice are unable to organise the event, so we have to do things a bit differently. At St John Ogilvie on the 23rd September we are organising a St Andrew's Hospice Charity day, which will include a wide range of different events and opportunities to raise much-needed funds.
St Andrew’s Hospice provides care and support to patients and their families tailored to meet their individual needs. Our goal is to provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for our patients in a calm, peaceful and welcoming environment. We care for patients with a range of needs including symptom management, rehabilitation as well as end of life care. We aim to ensure our patients live as actively as they can, for as long as they can and ensure they have the best quality of life possible.
