Story
In November 2020 a good friend, Sooz, sadly passed away from complications associated with Bowel Cancer. To remember her and try and do just a little bit to help those in a similar situation I plan to cycle the 302.5 miles from Aberystwyth in West Wales to Aldeburgh on the East Coast of Suffolk.
The intention is to do this largely as a "solo ride", although I will be asking friends to offer support along the way in the form of food, lodgings and even perhaps a bit of support car driving. My target for fundraising is £10 for every mile I ride, equalling a total of £3,025.
I plan to dip my wheel in the Irish Sea and start on the 19th of June and finish with a dip of a wheel in the North Sea on the 21st of June (if all goes to plan).
Any support is gratefully received and will have a massive impact on those who are impacted by Bowel Cancer.
