Last year you helped me raise over $1500 towards the Watershed project in Jharkhand India. The impact it made to the villages in Jharkhand was phenomenal! Your contribution was enough to build one pond, plant over a 100 plants and rejuvenate a couple of streams. The work was done by the local villagers and provided them employment for a couple of months. 

I am hopeful this small effort will go a long way in making the planet greener.

Lets join the local communities of Jharkhand in building watershed areas and small check-dams that promoted water percolation underground, revive local flora and fauna, and enable successful crop harvest in previously arid regions. With your support and partnership with the local community, we with help from AID, can restore more degraded land and mitigate the effects of climate change

$ 200 can help in rejuvenating a small mountain stream

$ 500 can support plantation & nurturing of 2500 mangroves in Sundarbans

$ 600 will support the excavation of a farm pond (60 feet X 40 feet X 10 feet) in a drought prone village in Jharkhand

$ 800 can help support the construction of a checkdam to conserve soil and water
