Hello family and friends,  

Even prior to COVID, access to health care services was unequal and unjust, and now, the disparities are devastating. 

I am extremely excited to support my SRCH colleague, Gricelda Correa, as she tackles this epic adventure to hike for Health + Justice!  Gricelda is a fierce advocate for our patients and someone I have admired for many years. In addition to supporting her in this effort to raise funds to serve the community, I will also be joining her for parts of the hiking challenge. 

The funds raised for Santa Rosa Community Health will ensure that health care happens for those who are most in need of medical, dental, and mental health services in Sonoma County.  For nearly 25 years, SRCH has prioritized being "the people's" health care providers, providing culturally respectful and relevant health care for people of all races and backgrounds. Every day, they open the doors of their 8 campuses to deliver medical, dental and mental health care for over 42,000 people. (Thats 1 in 4 Santa Rosans!) Through the wildfires and now COVID, they are on the front lines, working so everyone can have the opportunity for a full and healthy life. I believe everyone in our community deserves excellent health care, regardless of their ability to pay.
