At 4.00 p.m. on Friday, 20th June, four KPMG employees will be waved on their way by the Lord Mayor of Manchester as they cycle Square to Square - St James' Square, KPMG's Manchester office to Salisbury Square, KPMG's London HQ.
They will complete the ride in two and a half days, arriving at 9.00 a.m. on Monday morning in London, to be greeted by John Griffiths-Jones, KPMG's Senior UK Partner. Along the way they will visit St Ann's Hospice in Heald Green, climb seven miles up The Cat and Fiddle Road in The Pennines, pass through the highest village in England and aim to clock up 75 miles each day on the Saturday and Sunday. On the Monday, former Chelsea & England footballer Graeme le Saux will join them for this last leg of the journey.
Key sponsors Evans Cycles are kindly providing bikes, shirts and some accessories and what these intrepid adventurers now need is the knowledge that if they complete the ride, they will have raised their target amount for Help the Hospices.
Please help. The four riders - Matt Jackson, Andrew Simcock, Chris Fry and Richard Wynne - would really appreciate your sponsorship.
