Fundraising for The Jon Egging Trust

Tragically, on the 29th June 2019, we lost an incredible, kind, intelligent and talented individual in Gaz Stevens. His energy and passion for life was infectious. He had and will continue to have such a positive impact on my life and the lives of all those he met. In Gaz words “life is too short to be miserable and negative.”
We made plans for our future and one of the places he wanted to take me was the Great Wall of China. I will be walking a section of the wall over 10 days in October this year in Gaz memory, when we were due to take our trip to Italy.
Why the Jon Egging trust?
Gaz believed in the potential of people and had a positive and inclusive outlook on life. He received his Chief of AirStaff commendation for his work with the Jon Egging trust at RAF Cosford and, as recently as last week, volunteered to be OC Jon Egging trust at RAF Brize Norton.
The charity do incredible work in teaching young people important life skills, giving them the confidence to achieve their dreams in life. Gaz was directly involved at Cosford and was planning more work with them.
I will fund the trip myself and any donations go directly to the charity.
