Story
On Wednesday 5th July Sevenoaks Primary School we will be celebrating 75 years of our wonderful NHS.
We will be remembering 75 years of care and compassion and thinking about a future where we continue to put you our current and future patients first alongside technological achievements and pioneering techniques to provide rapid advancements and exciting opportunities to advance care.
To understand the importance of this in our society, we have some representatives from Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust coming to talk to the children in assemblies on 19th June. Your children and young people are the future users and workforce of tomorrow’s NHS and they want to share their enthusiasm and love for what they do with them.
On the birthday itself, the children will be taking part in a sponsored obstacle course around the top field. Each class will be given 15 minutes to complete as many circuits as they can. Every child will be taking part but if you would like to contribute by helping them to raise money through sponsoring the event, you can do so by making a donation via this page.
Your kind support will help MTW Hospitals Charity to be there for patients and their families in their time of need with outstanding hospital services delivered by exceptional people. The Charity provides additional resources above and beyond what the NHS can currently provide which will lead to an improved environment for patients and staff; additional equipment that can make a real difference to patient care and additional opportunities for staff training and support.
