Story
In the past few months, Royal Derby Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit has been busier than ever, working to help patients affected by Coronavirus and other life-changing illnesses. They are in urgent need of our help to support their staff who are still caring for patients with coronavirus and vulnerable, high risk groups.
Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity exists to make patients’ lives better. Donations and legacies to the Intensive Care Unit can help to provide the extras that can’t be provided from NHS statutory funding, but can make a real difference to patients and staff. Funding will go to a wide range of items to enrich patient welfare, purchase medical equipment, medical research and staff training.
St Peters Quarter Business Improvement District’s is running a fundraising campaign which includes collection pots in businesses around the BID area in Derby and a family-friendly MonsterHero Safari Trail where families are tasked with hunting down monster superheroes, displayed in public windows in the city centre. The MonsterHero Safari costs £2 to enter and participants will then be asked to top-up with a donation to the NHS charity.
Help us reach our target in supporting the NHS and to say a huge ‘thank you’ for their hard work.
