Story

Statement: Coronavirus

In light of the current situation in the UK, our fundraising has temporarily been suspended.  We would like to thank everyone for their donations received so far and look forward to continuing our fundraising once the current restrictions are lifted.

Spot On Cycling club members provides support for students at the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford; tandem cycling with visually impaired students from the college and training those with the potential to compete nationally and internationally.  Hence supporting the purchase and training of a guide dog is close to our hearts.

The club is undertaking a number of cycling challenges in 2020.  We are completing a 24-hour Spinathon, a 100-mile cycle ride as part of the Velo Birmingham, and the tour of Pembrokeshire - muscle rub at the ready :)

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
