As many of you know this September I am running in both The Great Yorkshire Run and The Great North Run. I have been training since January and have been running in the rain, wind and snow and I have acquired many injuries, blisters and even grazes so that I will hopefully be able to cross the finish line and raise money for the fantastic charity Cancer Research.

As a regular donator to Cancer Research I am eager to raise money to support the fantastic work they do in trying to beat cancer. My wonderful Nannan has been suffering from lung cancer for the past  two and a half years and in both my personal and professional life (as a nurse) I am frequently reminded of the pain, devastation and heartache cancer causes to people, their families and friends. I know times are tough but every penny counts so please, please help me to raise money for Cancer Research and help them to beat cancer.
