Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page . the reason we (guy harrison, shane cooke, and russ burt) are doing this walk is to raise as much money as we can for cancer research. about 2 weeks ago i (guy) found out a close friend (ant lane) has just been diagnosed with cancer, and it hit me hard. so shane said he,d like to do something as he lost his sister to cancer 2yrs ago. then i got talking to russ who said he,d like to do the walk as his wife cathy lost both her sister and dad to cancer. we decided to do the walk from the moon hotel in spondon to the clock tower in skegness. we aim to walk at least 50 miles a day so we should have completed the walk in 2 days.. we plan to leave the moon hotel at 0800am april 17th 2010 and we will be sleeping in a tent for a few hours then back on the road early sunday morning to get the job done...
