Welcome to Cancer Support UK's Big Ginger Social! A fresh new fundraising event, taking place throughout September. Bring family, friends or work colleagues together and experience absolute deliciousness, all for a good cause. 

Cancer Support UK send out free cancer kits to adults and children at every stage of their treatment which contain thoughtful goodies designed to comfort, sooth and provide a practical aid to recovery. Every £25 raised will fund a cancer kit for a UK cancer patient. 

Why the ginger theme? Ginger tea bags are included in the free Cancer Kits sent out by Cancer Support UK, as ginger helps to offset the nausea that cancer patients may experience. It's also delicious and can be a brilliant ingredient in so many things!

Cancer has touched our lives, like so many others, so this is a cause close to our hearts. But also my niece has recently started working her first full time job after completing her Master's degree as Communications & Fundraising Officer at Cancer Support UK. We're super proud of her and want to fully support her first major fundraising event.
