Spike's Wheelathon for Myeloma UK
Fundraising for Myeloma UK
Fundraising for Myeloma UK
I was diagnosed in August 2006 with Multiple Myeloma
( Bone Cancer )
In March 2007 I went through a Stem Cell Transplant, using my
own Stem cells that had been harvested in early February.
The magic of medicine has given me a new hope for the future.
I have now been given the best news I could hope fore I am
in full remission.
I have not been cured, but with your donations you will be
helping the Doctors and scientists, to hopefully find a cure one day.
I am going to attempt to wheel myself along Southsea sea front,
a total of 5 miles
I will be doing this in August when the weather permits.
This will probably nacker me for fishing for some time, as I won’t
be able to hold the rod until my arms grow back again.
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me to make it all worth
While and donate as much as you can.
YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE
I've don it all the way.
Well I completed the challenge in 3hrs 30mins,
My arms are two inches shorter and my back is
Killing me. I’d like to thank my support team,
Lezlee, Denise, Hazel, Tom, Jessica, ,
Lucas and John, and my roving photographer .
I have completed my physical part of the challenge
Now please help me reach the £1000.00 target.
A big thanks to all and cheers away.
Spike.
