Never again is what I said when I crossed the line of the GSR in full kit in 2017!!!

This year I am looking to run it for the 5th time making the total miles in full kit as 50 and I turned 50 earlier this year

Last year I heard a thank you speech from Charlotte, Sophie’s mum, at a charity event . She had set up Sophie’s Legacy in memory of her daughter who died aged just 10 from cancer. I was simply inspired to take on the challenge of the Great South run again!

This will most definitely be the last time I run in riot kit but I am hoping to be joined by colleagues who are taking this on for the very first time. Over the years we have raised a total of almost £10,000 for different charities and I am hoping we  can continue to add to that for this amazing cause which quite simply makes a real tangible difference to many people in times of need. 

Thankfully our time of need will last for only just over two hours or so and your support whether financially or physically on the day will be a massive help!
