at 6 this morning I was rudly woken by a pour down

a quick update for tomorrows sleepout. weather forecasts is cloudy with patches of light rain and the temperature will be 2 degrees. but im all ready with my thermals, 3 season sleeping bad and bivvy bag. I was tempted to go with sleeping bag wrapped in bin liners and sleep on cardboard. last week I noticed a place where a homeless person was sleeping and he had a nice bubble wrap lined cubby hole under a bridge.

thank you for the support. im still thinking yikes im sleeping out in the cold Saturday but its for a good cause. I will take some pictures on the day and keep everyone updated. if you know anyone else who might be intrested in sponsoring me please pass on my just giving page to them, even a good luck would be appreciated.

I will be sleeping rough for a night in support of local homeless charities.

In the past I have worked, listened and helped people who have for various reasons had to sleep rough. I would like to gain the insight into what it feels like. I know it wont be the same as its a safe and secure sleep out with lots of people about but I hope it will still be a challenge.
