Hello everyone!

I'll try to keep this concise. 

If I could list my top five people, Aunt Cyn would be one of them (and she still is). We've been close since I was a baby, and even when years passed between visits, it was like no time was lost when we got together. So much laughter, inside jokes and pure love. I'm grateful to have been able to spend time with her in recent years and that we kept in touch over text till the very end.

I wanted to find a special way to honor this special lady and the idea came to me when I was I was on a train back to England from Wales in April 2022. I will be participating in the Three Peaks Challenge on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer UK, an organization that works to raise awareness of this particular cancer, raise money for treatments and one day, find a cure. 

The challenge entails climbing the three tallest mountains in the UK in two days. Scotland and England October 1 and Wales October 2. I'll be going with a licensed hiking guide, of course. I like to think this is something Aunt Cyn might have done with me- maybe she will in spirit. She knew how much I loved doing crazy athletic challenges!
