Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Back in 2007 I started a female hair loss consultancy in Manchester with the aim of bringing effective and affordable hair loss solutions to women who needed them most. Since then, together with my partners we have developed Hair Solved into a nationwide brand and industry leader, and over the past decade we've helped a huge number of female hair loss sufferers regain their femininity and confidence thanks to our treatments. Chemotherapy patients account for a large number of people we've helped over the years, and supporting the great cause of fighting the worst disease of our time has always been close to our hearts. Therefore, when the opportunity arose to take part in such an amazing charitable challenge, I did not hesitate much. It won't be an easy feat - I've always been a strong swimmer, but because of my sedentary lifestyle I'm nearly 18 stone at the moment and 5 kilometres is a massive challenge to even walk, let alone swim. Therefore I will have to put some serious effort into actually seeing it through - it's quite literally sink or swim ;)For that reason, please help me motivate myself by giving generously to our cause.
