Wear A Hat Day 2022 takes place on Friday 25th March. As the culmination of Brain Tumour Awareness Month, this fundraising milestone is a great way to bring people together and raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I would love as many people as possible to take part in Wear A Hat Day throughout the week of March 21st especially on March the 25th - during Brain Tumour Awareness Month. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I would like this day in the year to be known across our area for all of the people who have suffered from a Brain Tumour. My daughter Eleanore is currently fighting her own brain tumour battle and we would love nothing more than to find a cure for this.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
