Story

Dear Friends,

At the end of this year I will once again be heading to Antarctica to ski the 730 miles from the coast to the South Pole. With temperatures averaging -35 degrees C and some of the most hostile conditions on earth this will be a huge challenge, but to add to the challenge, this year I will be doing it alone and unsupported. I will be aiming to complete the expedition in under 42 days, thus setting a new record for the journey.

This year I lost one of my dearest friends to breast cancer, Jill Fraser. An extraordinary person, who will be known to many of you, Jill gave me her unfaltering suppport over the past 10 years and I wish to dedicate this great journey to her, a great lady.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breakthrough Breast Cancer will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
