We give the best care and support to families facing terminal illness

Story

We are a team of walkers from SSE Medway Power Station who are embarking on the London to Brighton 100km walk, raising money for EllenorLions Hospice, a charity that is close to us for many reasons.

EllenorLions provide hospice care for over 2500 people per year, both in-house and at home in the Dartford, Gravesham and surrounding areas.

Our team is led by Alan Freeman, an experienced walker who completed the London to Brighton in 2014 solo. He was the inspiration to form a team and tackle the event in 2015. The other members of the team are Steve Humphrey, Rick Lutman, Sue Beveridge, David Smith, Andy Scott, Steve Smith and Andrew Chivers. We have started our training for this event and will post updates to show where we have been walking and our progress towards the main event.

Our target is £4000 but we want to smash this target by as much as possible. We can only do this with your help. So please give all you can, and spread the word to help us help a great charity.
