Story
The family and loved ones of Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, have been overwhelmed by the public support and the number of kind messages, flowers and tributes left in his memory, in the wake of his untimely death.
As his funeral approaches, those closest to him kindly request that in lieu of flowers and other tributes, monetary donations are made to several key charities which Sir David passionately and wholeheartedly supported.
One of those is Prost8.
One in eight men will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prost8 was set up by men with personal experience of prostate cancer to focus on earlier screening, better treatments and a much better life after treatment.
Their aim is to stop prostate cancer taking the toll it does on ‘man’ kind by:
1. getting men to talk and ‘man up’ to addressing symptoms earlier
2. helping to improve access to simpler more accurate screening
3. donating equipment to provide less invasive treatment options
On behalf of Sir David, his family and loved ones, thank you for your kind donation and helping his charitable work live on.
