We started South Avenue Windows to create a local community as many neighbours didn’t know each other.
Our lovely builder Steve and his family who live in our road have had lots of support from Helen and Douglas House.
This year more then ever they need funds and that’s why we need to light up December.
The joy, smiles and laughter as children and adults search to find the latest window when you walk around each night is wonderful.

Your fundraising will be helping families like Romans. In March 2019, when he was only a few days old, twin Roman was given just weeks to live. Helen & Douglas House cared for Roman at their hospice for a few weeks until he was able to go home with his family for the first time. Their community nurses visited regularly and the family were able to spend Christmas together at home. In January 2020 Roman died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, which is when their bereavement support team provided his family with a lifeline of support. Your donation enables Helen & Douglas House to continue to support the children and families who need them this Christmas.
