Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

All the Book Festival team live in Southam, a Warwickshire market town not too far from the birthplace of William Shakespeare. We organised our first Festival three years ago in the Graham Adams Community Centre. Local people liked what we did and asked us to keep going, so we have. The mission of the Graham Adams Centre is to promote the well being of the people of our Town and as book lovers we think nothing could do this better than a book festival. This year , of course, promoting well-being is more important than ever. We hope our on-line event will be as successful as the previous two festivals. We are grateful for all the support and help we have received and the generosity of writers who are prepared to talk about their work. We hope next year to see you back at the Graham Adams Centre.

As part of the Book Festival we annually host a Flash Fiction writing competition ( on-line entries only) which seems to grow and grow. This year, again, entries came mainly from the UK, but a smattering from further afield. We are grateful to the team of local judges who have over 260 stories to sift through.
