Story

As you may know, I've run marathons before.  You may even have sponsored me before for which I am extremely grateful.  You might be tempted to think, I'm not sponsoring him again and that would be fair enough.  Let me see if I can change your mind.  Firstly, all the money raised will go directly to our work with young people in Beeston and Holbeck.  Specifically, it will go towards giving young people opportunities to find things that fire them in life - to try new things that they would otherwise not be able to do and, hopefully, to see them thrive in ways they haven't before.  This might be another marathon for me but the need remains the same.  Secondly, whilst I enjoy a challenge, it would not be correct to say I enjoy marathons.  When I completed my last marathon in 2019, I genuinely thought I was done - the level of time commitment and pain is immense.
