Story
Due to a number of political and cultural reasons it is estimated that thousands of Disabled children (often with rather minor disabilities) are abandoned. These children often end up in government run orphanages under appalling conditions. They are confined to rows upon rows of beds and denied basic care, stimulation, and human interaction.
This is where ForLife comes in!
They run state of the art specialist residential home, taking the children out of the orphanages and providing them the professional treatment and support that they need. The centres are bright, colourful, full of games and excitement, but also places where they can receive basic medical care, hygiene, physiotherapy and occupational therapy by caring professionals. In addition to this ForLife also do work in the community, with a focus on giving the children real childhoods and changing perceptions in the process. Taking the children on days out and holidays.
Your donation will help pay for vital equipment (wheelchairs and sensory equipment) and further the amazing work the people at ForLife do.
