Story
Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm walking 100 miles in 30 days for the bone and soft tissue cancer charity Sarcoma UK.
My incredible sister has been living with soft tissue sarcoma since 2016. She has undergone various surgeries and treatments and is now receiving palliative chemotherapy to keep it at bay for as long as possible. It’s brutal - 3 weekly ‘magic potion’ infusions with no end date.
She has approached every aspect of her illness with her usual grit, determination and bloody mindedness.. Something I’ve been in awe of/ suffering from since she was about 2 years old. And in her typical ‘keep on keeping on’ style, she’s committed to walking 100 miles in June to raise awareness for sarcoma. If she can do it, I definitely can too.
Thanks for anything you can donate - and local pals, I’d love some company over the miles.
