Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 17th October I will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon! I am doing this to raise money for ICYE-UK.
ICYE is an ethical volunteering organisation with over 50 years of experience in international volunteering. ICYE volunteers live and work in countries throughout Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe, helping to support local NGO’s and aid International development. Volunteers from developing countries also have the opportunity to experience living in another culture through the exchange programme.
In 2011, with the help of ICYE, I will be going to Bolivia where I will be
working with a human rights non-governmental organisation. This work will involve
the promotion and protection of human rights of vulnerable groups including
children, women and indigenous peoples.
