You will recall that I embarked on a fund raising event last year riding over 2,000 miles through the Arizona and new Mexico Desert in 10 days of blistering heat?

I didn't post much about it on social media as we had a tragedy.  One of our members sadly died on the trip and another one, our founder, died, shortly after we returned home.  Therefore it didn't seem appropriate to post lots of pictures of the amazing scenery.

However, we are taking to the bikes again, this time heading into the mountain passes of Germany and Switzerland.

Whilst this trip may not be as gruelling as the last one, it is still a challenge with lot of rain expected, reduced visibility and of course it is still for a great cause.

Anyone who has kids know that they are not always very good at sharing their problems and asking for help.  Imagine how desperate a child must be to call Child Line?  The problem is that they don't always get through first time, this can sometimes be the difference between life and death!  The number 1 reason that young people are calling Child Line is mental Health and suicidal thoughts.

90% of their funding comes from people like you who are kind enough to donate.

Therefore please would you be kind enough to donate a small amount for me?  it really doesn't matter how small, I have a few hundred connections so even if only half of them donated £5, I would meet my target and be able to help Child Line answer EVERY call they get first time.

For those of you who like to see me suffer, don't worry I will be posting lots of pics and videos of me endlessly complaining about the heat and the early morning starts and aches and pains of riding relentlessly for hours.
