Fundraising for St Leonard's Hospice, York
My big brother Ben died of cancer in October 2014. He was just 43. He left behind wife Ali, and 2 wonderful children, Dylan & Phoebe.
Ben's last days were spent at St Leonard's Hospice in York where he received amazing, dignified care from all the staff.
The Hospice is entirely free and relies on charitable donations.
Since Ben died, I have been training (previously only able to run 10K ) to run the Liverpool Half Marathon in June, alongside my very good friends Lucy Wakes and Karen Wilkins, who have very generously agreed to fundraise with me.
Please spare what you can to help St Leonards, so we can make sure this incredible centre and its staff is available to others when they need it most.
