I have been so lucky to be offered a place in this years London Marathon running for Maggies Centres
Maggies Centres provide free support for patients and their families during this incredibly difficult time.
On #internationalwomensday I wanted to share my super strong, brave Mum.
She is currently undergoing treatment for oesophageal cancer.
This is her today ringing the bell at Cheltenham hospital to celebrate the end of her gruelling 5 week course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
She is due to have an operation in the next two months to try to remove the tumour. It is a very big procedure and we are grateful she is deemed strong and fit enough to be able to undergo the operation. My Nan had the same operation in 2002 but sadly died in hospital days after.
