Sophie supports Crohn's & Colitis UK, a leading UK-based charity battling against Crohn’s Disease, Ulverative Colitis, and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
Having witnessed the effects this disease can have on people of all ages, Crohn’s & Colitis UK is a charity close to Sophie’s heart. On social media, Sophie reaches out to her fans and to those suffering from IBD/IBS as a way to spread awareness and information, and to remind those who suffer from these diseases that they are not alone.

Sophie Skelton is a multi-talented British actress from Woodford in Cheshire. Having been a ballet dancer from a young age and starting her acting career on stage, she moved to screen when she was spotted by an agent at 15. At this time Sophie Skelton is best known for her lead role in the Bafta winning, Golden Globe and Emmy nominated series Outlander in which she plays the American, fiery, redheaded Brianna, the daughter of the two lead characters Jamie and Claire Fraser. But also many other British television shows.Her film career includes Blackbird, Another Mother’s Son and more recently Day of the Dead and #211.
