Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Kirkwood Hospice is situated in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire which is our hometown. The hospice hopes to provide support and comfort to those with a terminal illness and their families. In January 2003 our Grandad/Father in law passed away after battling cancer. Althought he did not move into the hospice in his final weeks, the staff at the hospice did all they could to support him and our family. We think the work the hospice does and the positive attitudes of all the staff at the hospice is inspiring and we would appreciate any donation you can make, whether it is £1 or £100 every penny counts.

We will be running the Bupa Great Manchester Run on the 16th May 2010. This is a 10K race and we do hope that you will support us in reaching our target (and hopefully exceeding it!!)

In advance, many thanks to all of you who make a donation, it is greatly appreciated.

Wish us luck :-)
